Thanks. I had found that thread when I Googled. BTW, AutoResize is off.
These suggestions are fine but they do not apply in my case. I have no
problems changing column width. It is just that the cell border handles on
the Ruler (which displays all the cell borders when you click inside a
table) are offset like so:
On Ruler:
|-------|-------|-------|
on the page below the ruler:
|-------|-------|-------|
See? If I select the first cell, its border is at zero inch from the margin,
but the ruler is offset to the left of the margin.
Strange, no? Or am I missing the obvious?
