i have created a form in Word, therefore need to "lock-
down" the document. The issue I am having is that my form
contains a table requiring calculations. once i lock down
the form, customers using the form can not drop in numbers
to allow the calculations automatically fill in.
additionally, the calculations i would like to include in
the table seem restricted to only numeric formulas. can i
name other cells in part of the calculation?
with that said, i used an Excel table instead of a Word
table for the calculations requiring other cells, but when
i put on the lock, the table is not accessible by
customers.
can you help me identify a solution?

Hi Beth,
If your customers need to insert data into the table, you'll either have to
provide formfields for them to do that with, or put the table in an
unprotected section of the document.
