I have a client that has a Word doc (XP) and she wants to
change the page orientation from portrait to landscape on
one 1 page that contains a table. Is this possible? Or do
you know a better way? She has another doc with several
tables that she also wants to do this on. And she needs
the answer in an hour! YIKES!

TIA,
Carla

Carla,

In every place where you want to change page orientations, insert a section
break (Insert > Break > Next Page section break).  So, for instance, if you
want to change 1 page in the middle of a document to a different orientation
from the other pages, you would insert a section break with your cursor at
the top of that page, and then insert another with your cursor at the top of
the following page.  Then click anywhere on that page, go to File>Page
Setup, change the page orientation as appropriate, and make sure that the
'Apply to:' is set to 'This section'.

Regards,
Chad
