Preserving table size

I have created a table in Word but when I send it to
someone else the table appears smaller, ie the same
number of rows but taking up less room on the page.

Ive also seen the case where the table appears larger
when viewed on yet another PC. Im guessing that this is
something to do with printer drivers but Im just guessing.

Does anyone know how to preserve table size properties so
that other people using their own instances of Word see
more or less exactly the same thing? Or is this not
possible?

Note, I have played with some of the settings in the
Compatibility tab of Options to no avail.

Your guess is probably right.  The only way to ensure that they see it the
same would be to create a .pdf file and send that.
