MS Office Forum / Word / Tables / October 2004A table next to a picture
I am using MS Office Word 2003. I have inserted a .jpg image as a "picture from a file" and would like to insert a table next to the image. I have wrapped text to the right of the image and can type text where I want it, but when I insert a table, it appears in the proper place for an instant and then appears across the page at the bottom of the image. How can I get a table next to a picture or a picture next to a table? For starters, you'll have to resize the table to fix next to the picture.  SignatureSuzanne S. How can I get a table > next to a picture or a picture next to a table? right click the table, select table properties and change the positioning to be text wrapping and designate the position of the table, Alternativly copy your table into a text box and place it where ever you want.
