I have 2 tables in my Microsoft Word document on different pages that will
contain the same data. I want to save the hassel of having to copy and paste
the information but have the data automatically updated in the second table
when i change any data in the first table.

Select the whole of the first table and insert a bookmark.  Then delete the
second table and in place of it, insert a cross reference to the text of the
bookmark that you assigned to the first table.

When you then update the fields in the document, the second table will be
updated.

Or to make it really automatic, if you can live with the restrictions
imposed by protecting the document for forms, use formfields in the first
table with their Calculate on exit option set.
