Hi,
I need help!
Take the following example of a table in Word:
1,2,3,4,5,6
1,2,3,4,5,6
I need to merge 1 & 1, 2 & 2 and so on... is there a quicker way instead of
having to choose the cells each time as I have pages of pairs of rows like
these?
Initially I thought that I could simply do it manually with the first two
rows then use the Format Painter, but that doesnt seem to work.
Cant wait to hear from you.

F4 (Repeat) can be your friend in such instances, but here's an easier way:
1. Switch to Print Layout view if you are in a different view.
2. Display the Tables and Borders toolbar.
3. Click on the Eraser button.
4. Working from right to left, carefully erase the horizontal border between
the first and second rows.
5. Click on Eraser again to turn it off.
