Images will not show up on my Word table unless I type something in a cell
below the cell with the image.

Background:  I am capturing screen shots and pasting them in a 1 column wide
table.  Then I go back and copy the URL and paste it in the cell below the
screen shot. I then go back and get the next screen shot, and past it in the
next cell, etc, etc.

If I scroll down the document, the images do not appear in the table. I can
make them reappear by clicking in the cell below the image cell, and the
space bar. Then, all of the images miraculously reappear... but only what was
visible on my monitor at that time... If I scroll down... the cells appear
empty.  This happens with any file size (this one is less than a meg)

Is this a security setting, resources?  I'm running Word 2003 on a new HP
MEdia Center PC.  The vidio card is an ATI x600 with 250M of video memory.
Operating system is Windows XP Media Edition, with all the latest Microsoft
updates installed.  (The HP MOBO and BIOS drivers may have uninstalled
updates)

Try turning down hardware acceleration in your graphics adapter.
