Hello, This is sort of a follow up for jesse. The total
project I'm working is a sort of form that needs several
signatures. The idea behind protecting a table is to
protect other signature areas from being falsely signed to
speed the form along. Is there anyway to protect different
areas of the document with separate passwords for each? or
would another microsoft product work better?
Any help you or anybody else could give would be just
great!
Thanks!

Yes, you can independently protect each section with a
different password. As I mentioned in the previous post as
a follow up, you can determine the section number by
clicking your cursor in the section you want to protect
and looking for the section number at the bottom of the
screen (e.g., Page 12 Sec 4).
After doing that, go to...
Tools | Protect Document | Section: mark the section
number and enter a password.
You should then be good to know. Let us know if this works.

DNC,
You can insert several continuous section breaks on one
page. Each can have it's own password and protection.
Additionally, you can adjust formatting to suit
independent need for each signature.

hmmm, sorry, you can protect each section, but are allowed
only one password.
