Creating Diagonal Lines in Word Table Cells

I need to create a diagonal line inside a cell of a table. Help, Word 97.

This feature was introduced in Word 2000, I think, but it doesn't really
accomplish much: it divides the cell visually but doesn't actually split it;
you still have to type text into the separate triangles and format it
manually. In Word 97, you can draw the line as a drawing object anchored to
the text in the cell and accomplish the same thing.
