In "plain text" with a bullet list, pressing the tab key will indent
the bullet one level.

How do I do this with a bullet list inside a cell of a table?

Pressing Tab takes the insertion point to the next cell of the table.

Pressing Ctrl-Tab inserts an actual tab character in the text.

Other combinations do either something unwanted or nothing at all.

Thanks,

Have you tried Alt+Shift+Right Arrow?
