Hi KSit,
Depending on how you're doing this, the Word document might not display the
updated Excel results until the Excel Workbook is saved and, even then,
until the Word document is closed and re-opened. What link format are you
using?
Cheers

Hi macropod,
i used copy from excel then 'paste special' and click on 'paste link'.
Is there another way to build an active link?
Thanks,
ksit

When you use 'paste special' and 'paste link', you'll see a number of other
formatting options (eg RTF, picture). These all perform somewhat differently
than the default worksheet format, especially where formatting of the output
is concerned. Some may/may not also give you more responsive updating.
Cheers
