ruler says 7 in wide, print is 5 in. wide

According to the ruler at top of page, my typed text should be 7 in. wide,
but when printed, it's only 5 in wide and doesn't go to right side margin

Are your lines wrapping short because of line breaks? This is quite common
in text pasted from the Web. See
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/CleanWebText.htm. Or, since you posted
in a NG devoted to tables, perhaps you inserted the table and then changed
the margins? Word won't automatically make the table wider unless the
preferred width is set to 100%.
