has anyone ever had a problem embedding an excel worksheet and it appearing in word as a picture? Problem in what sense? If you follow the menu system for embedding an object it will appear as a picture. I find the most relliable way is to create a field (shift F9) and just type in the command eg {LINK Excel.Sheet.8 "WORKBOOK.XLS" "Sheet!
