Numbering a Form

Trying to create a numbered form and each new doc would be the next
sequential number.  Not even sure if that would be a Word or Excel program.

Jay, thanks for your help.  I knew there was a way to do it, just wasn't sure
how.  Now I know.   I'm new to this link to Office Discussion.  What an
awesome tool.  I'll be back.
