creating a word document

Not able to delete verbage or numbers when creating a word document. This
problem has just started. Have unloaded the word program and reloaded, still
no good.

Not sure I understand your problem, but it may be addressed by the following
from the FAQ:

28. My blank document has text in it - an old letter, etc. See

What was posted may not be clear, let's try this. When creating a document
(letter) and you have several paragraphs and I want to delete a paragraph, I
highlight the paragraph and select delete. Nothing happens and the paragraph
does not delete.
