How do I group objects

I need to select objects so that I can group them. How do I selcet objects ?

If the objects are in the drawing layer, you can use the Select Objects tool
on the Drawing toolbar. Either click, then Shift+click or use the tool to
marquee-select objects (draw a rectangle around them).
