How can I center a table on a document?

I just want a simple way to do it, no Macros yet, a beginner here.  thanks!

To center horizontally, select the entire table and press Ctrl+E. To center
vertically, if it's the only thing in the document, set "Vertical alignment"
(File | Page Setup | Layout) to Center. Otherwise, you'll have to either put
the table in a separate section and set its vertical alignment to Center or
center the table manually by adding Space Before to the top row.
