I have a table with borders and every other column shaded (25% gray). When I
convert this table to PDf, the borders/lines in the shaded columns/cells do
not show in the PDF document. Any idea why?

Are you using a PDF maker other than Acrobat? Some of the off-brand
software does not work that well. "You get what you pay for" is
sometimes true.

Try Primo PDF. I tested it with what you described and it worked fine.
By the way, it's FREE

Hi,
Use MagicPDF Free (http://www.magicpdf.com)
The cell and column shading is kept in the PDF.
