MS Word 2000, Window Professional 2000
Is is possible to format numbers in cells to show $ --,---.-- if I'm not
using any formulas?
I just want to enter amount and not have to type dollars mark, comma etc.

Possible in Word only if you embed an Excel sheet.

Another banner day!  I went to help to find out what embed was. I now know
how to copy|paste special  -or-  even Insert|object|file|link to file.

I found that link to file will change if the excel sheet changes.  Is that
all I need to know?

Thanks
God bless

Possibly. Not something I have any experience with, I'm afraid.
