How to avoid use ctrl to click on page numb. in table of content? In old
word you did not need to use control button.

In Word 2007: Office Button > Word Options > Advanced tab
In earlier versions: Tools > Options > Edit tab

Deselect "Use Ctrl + Click to follow hyperlinks"
