HELP. I'VE IMPORTED A NUMERICAL TABLE FROM EXCEL AND HAVE
TO JUSTIFY THE COLUMNS BY A RIGHT PARENTHESIS ) DUE TO
NEGATIVE NUMBERS. HOW DO I DO THIS.

Set a decimal tab stop for the entire column in the position where you want
numbers to right-align. You don't have to insert tab characters, the
contents (which need to be left-aligned first) will jump to the tab stop and
align on the decimal point or the first other non-numeric character that
appears after numbers (this can be a parenthesis, an asterisk, a superscript
letter, etc.).

Was it right justified in Excel already? If so, select the contents of the
Table in Word, when you see a four way arrow appear, right click on it and
select Table Properties. On the Table (tab) under Alignment (heading) select
the justfication of your choice.

The first answer supplied to you will align numbers WITHIN
the table column. The second answer refers to aligning the
TABLE ITSELF on your page.
