Office 2003.
I have a document with a table and the heading row doesn't not repeat.
I selected the tables first row.
I turned on Heading Rows Repeat.
I'm viewing in Print Layout view.
I have other documents where this feature works fine.
Can someone please suggest where I'm going wrong with this doc?
Thanks....
Make sure you don't have a break in the table. Try selecting one of the
columns: does it select all the way to the bottom? If not, then the table is
broken. This can happen when a table becomes wrapped, or if nested tables
are involved (common when text is pasted from a Web site). Make sure the
text wrapping is set to None. Also, needless to say, make sure that the
first row really is the first row (that you don't have the table caption in
a borderless row above it, for example) and that no other rows are
identified as headings (I've seen tables where every row was set as a
heading row).

Thanks for the tips, I'll check them out.

I checked out your suggestions and none of the potential problems you noted
were found.
I rebuilt the table, copied and pasted the data from the broken one and all
appears to work now.
Must have been a broken table that wasn't viewable with "normal" tools in
Word?
Thanks for you help.

I guess. Sometimes it's easier to solve (or work around) a problem than to
find the cause.
