Greetings and TIA for your help
I have a Word doc with two tables seperated by 1 line. There is a return character at the beginning of the line. For some reason this character does not respond to being deleted and hence will not allow the two tables to merge
Any suggestions?

Is at least one of the tables wrapped? For each table, on the
Table tab of the Table > Table Properties dialog box, make sure
"Text wrap" is set to "None", and click OK. Can you merge the
tables now?
