Copying format from Table to Table -- Help please

As I posted earlier, I have about 27 separate tables of two columns each, one
after the other.

It there a way I can copy/paste the format from one table to all the other
tables?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, I have been checking the help files but to no
avail.

It depends what you mean by "format" and what version of Word you have. In
Word 97 and 2000 you can apply a specific AutoFormat to tables; in Word 2002
and above you can define your own AutoFormat (table style) and apply it. The
formatting applies to borders, shading, text alignment, and, to some extent,
font formatting. For paragraph/font formatting, though, you're best advised
to use paragraph styles.
