Hello,

I have inserted captions, but when move a table, the
caption doesn't move with it.

Any suggestions?

Thank you!

Hi Dee

Once you insert a caption, it is not irrevocably tied to the item it is
captioning. To move the table and its caption, select the table and the
caption at the same time, then move.

Hope this helps.

To keep a table together with its caption, you can select the table
and the caption and insert a frame around it (there's an Insert Frame
command available on the Forms toolbar). Make sure that the table is
not wrapped before you do this. (Wrapped tables are supported in Word
2000 and later. To disable text wrap, place the cursor in the table,
select Table > Table Properties, click the Table tab, under Text
wrapping, select None, and then click OK.)

Thanks - both methods worked like a charm!
