The pictures embedded in a word documents can be cropped using Cro
tool.  Cool!

But it actually shows only the un-cropped area and hides the rest o
it.. cuz when u press the reset image button, the image springs back t
its original 'nekkid' form..

Now, in XP version u can choose to delete the cropped areas of th
picture by using the compress option on the Picture Toolbar.
*_Big_Question:_ Can this be achieved programmatically using vb
code?*

Thank you

Haven't tried this in Excel, but in PPT XP or higher you can copy the cropped
image to the clipboard then paste special (as PNG) to get there.  PasteSpecial
wasn't exposed in PPT until XP.  It may be available in earlier versions of
Excel.
