If you can find a good book to buy, let me know its name.

The best way to learn VBA is to start with a book about using VBA in your
favorite Office app.
MSFT Press used to have a good Word VBA Step By Step Book.
I believe that it is out of print, but you might be able to find a copy.

You should be able to find copies of, e.g., the Word 97 edition at
http://www.bestwebbuys.com/books/compare/isbn/1-57231-388-9.

You could also get a feel for VBA by using the Excel 2002 VBA Step By Step
book from MSFT Press.

In any case, see http://www.standards.com/index.html?WordVBABooks

I still like the Word Developer's Handbook and Steve Roman's Writing Word
Macros.

See http://addbalance.com/word/wordbooks.htm for other suggestions that have
been made.

The MVP FAQ on vba and userforms is a  great place for examples and
explanations, though.

Here is a site:

http://users.bigpond.net.au/gradley/vbatutor/

I used this site years ago when the whole thing was free.  Apparently, now
you can do the first six lessons for free, then you have to register and
purchase a license to see the rest.  What was there when I used it was
pretty good.
