Is there a way to have hyperlinks included in your pdf when you save from a
word doc to a pdf so that when you open the pdf you can click on the graphic
or text and it will take you to the link? Also, is there a way to select text
within word and then designate that spot to take you to another page. For
example, in the table of contents if you click on page 2 it will take you to
page 2? And is there a way that you can save that information into a pdf as
well?

Yes, yes and yes!

Make sure you check the Acrobat conversion options from the PDF toolbar in
Word. Depending on your Acrobat version, you will find somewhere an option
having to do with preserving links (Either the General tab or the Word tab).
You can also choose to turn the whole TOC into a point and click thingy,
and/or create PDF bookmarks from selected styles in the document.

In Word, create a bookmark at the destination point in the document. Go to
the starting point and insert an hyperlink pointing to the bookmark instead
of an URL.
