I woul like to write a macro that looks for characters in a document that are

Hi Carmen,

See

for macros that do the trick.

Klaus

Thank you very much for your help. The macros work great. I have another
question, where can I get books or references that I can use to learn these
type of Word solutions?
Best Regards,

Carmen

Hi Carmen,

Can't say... I've used the built-in VBA help pretty much exclusively to
learn, and hanging out in the vba newsgroups and web forums has helped, too.
There may be some recommendations on the Word MVPs' web site:
http://www.word.mvps.org/tutorials/Books/WordHacks.htm

From the excerpts I've seen, Andrew Savikas' "Word hacks" could be a good
choice.

Regards,
Klaus
