I am trying to use Word 2003 as an XML editor.  I have an c#(.net 1.1)
application that opens a word application, opens an xml file as a template,
attaches an xml schema, and opens the XML structure task pane.  The problem I
am having is using the child element window in the task pane.  The window
displays child elements for the currently selected node.  If the child
element already met its maxoccurs number, I was hoping the element would not
show up as a selection.  Does anyone have a way to programmatically access
the task pane window and stop child elements that reach their maxoccurs to
not show up as a selection in the child element window?

Hi

I'm not aware of any way to access the task pane programmatically.

Hope this helps.

Shauna, from what I read below, I don't think OP refers to the
Windows taskbar, but (as stated in initial msg), quote
> XML structure task pane

If so, aacDude, I think you'll have to address the appropriate C# newsgroup
for this.
If not so, aacDude, pls rephrase the question.

Thanks for your reply.

I am looking to programmatically customize the XML structure task pane.  If
there is a more appropriate newsgroup to post this too, please let me know.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
