Hello

I haven't found any sollution for my problem in the www. That's why I
ask here:

I create several templates in Word 2003 in those I use
"ChangeFileOpenDirectory".
I am working on a server system, so I neither know when the data
pathes are changing nor I'm happy to redo every template in a year.
That's why I would like to write a *.txt file containing the data
path.

Aiming for: If the server systems data pathes are changed, I can only
change the text in the *.txt file and every template is up to date.

But: How can I extract the text of a *.txt document with a word macro
and use this text as path string?

For every answer I'd be grateful!
