Is there a way to copy and paste an existing user file or duplicate it in
some other way that would allow you to take the new form and use the toolbox
to edit it to perform a different, but similar, function?

Thanks;

Amy

Yes, assuming you mean a userform. You can copy it within the vb editor.

Yes I meant UserForm.  How?  I've tried Ctrl-C/Ctrl-V, selecting Copy and
paste from the Edit menu (both grayed out) right clicking (copy and paste
are not available, nor is there a duplicate option).  I'm out of things to
try, and I have not found any references to user forms in the help outside
what you get when you click the ? in the object browser...

I've only copied to another project, by Ctrl-dragging it. You could drag to
a dummy project, rename, and drag back. The code, of course, can be
exported.

Hi Amy,

> Yes I meant UserForm.  How?

Use File/Export to save it as pure text files. In the
target project, use File/Import.
