I have to write a weekly report data from various Excel data sources. Is
there a way to send this report to a word document using VBA code? How do I
send only the latest data (by date) to my word document template? I would
also like to create a button in excel so that this can be done easily.

Any help will be nice but links to clutterd google ads is a complete waste of
time. Pls, only reply if you can answer the questions below.

Is there a way to send spreadsheet data to a word document using VBA code?
How
do I send only the latest data (by date) to my word document template? I would
also like to create a button in excel so that this can be done easily.

Many thanks.

Hi beauty

I don't see any ads when I visit the pages referred to by the links that
Russ and Doug built for you. What I see is links to previous discussions in
these public newsgroups about getting Excel data into Word documents. One
displays discussions in Word newsgroups; the other displays discussions in
Excel newsgroups. These discussions distil the combined experience of
hundreds, maybe thousands, of users over many years.

There are many ways to get data from an Excel spreadsheet into Word (the
easiest, of course, is just to copy and paste). Which method is appropriate
for your needs is hard to tell, since we don't know what version of Office
you're using, how your spreadsheet is arranged, how the VBA code would
identify the latest data, or what you want the result to look like in Word.
We also don't know what methods you might already have tried on your own,
but found unsatisfactory for your needs.

Without more specific information about your spreadsheets and your needs,
it's hard to offer you specific advice. Russ and Doug pointed you to general
information about getting Excel data into Word. If you can post back here
with more specific questions, I'm sure someone will be able to help you.

Hope this helps.

If you want to do this with a button in Excel, then you should post your
question to the microsoft.public.excel.programming newsgroup.  However if
you take the time to look at the links that Russ posted, then you will
probably find an answer without having to wait for someone to respond to
your post.
