We developed a product 6 years ago using Word 97 in Windows 2000
environment.
The client has now moved to Windows 2003 in an XP Pro environment.
It seems that Word 2003 has changed the way in which forms throw.
I have a form which amongst other things, opens a document. Up until now,
the document always appeared under the form that was used to open the
document, or the form remained in focus over the document it had just opened
to put it another way.
Now the form that initially opened the document appears over whatever
document it chooses with no apparent pattern.
It will only appear over the document it opened if there are no other
documents open at that time.
This is infuriating, is there a new setting in Word 2003 which I should look
at.
I even tried hiding the form, opening document, then showing the form, but
again it just pops up over the any other document.
Before I resort to API window manipulations then any help much appreciated
TIA

I had another look through Word2003 options and find that if I uncheck
"Windows in Toolbar" in "View", the focus becomes manageable.
Is this a bug or by design? I will checkout service packs!
