I am not new to VBA, but I am to user forms in Word.

I have created a user form that populates form fields in a document
based on the value selected in a drop down.  Everything works good.
It appears that the form and code are part of normal.dot, rather than
the document.  I need to provide user's copies of the document w/the
form & code and do not want to copy my normal.dot to their PC's.  How
do I make the form/code p/o the document?  Any help with would be
appreciated.

Do you want to distribute a *.doc or a *.dot?

Use the VBA editor to drag and drop the userform and standard modules from
your Normal.dot to your target (In the Project pane).

I want to distribute a *.doc.  I wondered about dragging the user form/
code, but did not try it.

Thanks for the reply.
