MS Office Forum / Word / Programming / November 2005Interfacing with data on the Web
I wish to access some data from an online database and download it into MSWord I have written an ASP file which (using XML) displays the data in a browser window. Is there a method for accessing the data on that web page? Alternatively is there another way of getting the data? Eddie I guess that's a "No" then? Let me be a bit clearer about what I'm doing. From MSWord VBA, I can display a web page that I have designed to contain the data I want to put in an offline Word document. Is there a VBA method to extract the data from an online web page and insert it into an offline document?
