Hello,

Error " Could not load an object because it is not available on this
machine" when trying to open Word Document which has VBA scripts.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Office and Visual Basic 6.0 Pro
to no avail.
If i click "OK" opn above error, another error comes up saying "Compile
error, can't find project or library".

This happens on 5 different files and on 3 different systems. Both XP and
Win2000.

Please help.

Open the document ignoring all the errors. Switch to VBA. Go to Tools >
References. This lists the projects and libraries used by the VBA project.
Any missing ones will be identified as such. These will be add-ins or
library files (most commonly DLLs or OCXs) that were used by whoever
developed the VBA code, but which are not installed on your current
machines. You'll probably need to get back to the original developer to sort
out the mess. Reinstalling Word doesn't help because the problem doesn't
relate directly to Word; and VB is irrelevant to VBA anyway.
