Are you talking about the firefox browser software?  Or is there some
database software out there called firefox?

I have a word add-in that is called from javascript and it seems to use
active-x. It works fine on IE, but how do I get it to work on Firefox
the browser?

Hmmm.  That's beyond my scope.  If no one else here can help you, you might
try googling "firefox programming."  There appears to be some books
available, etc.

Sorry.
