Every time I start word after a shut down it prompts me to insert the
installation disk and goes through a reinstall.  I can't figure out what
prompts the necessity of putting in the disk at each new startup.  Please
help!

This is a group for VBA questions. VBA means macros. Your question concerns
setup. You're more likely to find knowledgeable people who can help you in
the office.setup newsgroup. Please ask there, and don't forget to mention
the VERSION of Word involved.
