Getting value from protected field

Hi everybody,

I have a form field that I'm using to set the vailue for the doc's title
(ActiveDocument.BuiltInDocumentProperties("Title")) when the doc is saved.
The problem is, you can't get the value after the field is protected.

Is there a way to get around this?

I know I could use a bookmark instead of a field, but it's not my decision;
the stakeholder wants a field.

Thanks!
Mike

Never mind, I think I found the answer in another thread.
