Copying Macros from normal.dot to specific files for others to use

I have a bunch of macros stored in normal.dot.  As of now, I am the only
person using these macros, but in a few weeks, that's going to change.  Is
there a way to copy the macros into the specific documents so that whoever
opens the document can use the macro?  I don't want to install my normal.dot
file on any other computers because other people might have specific settings
in their normal.dot that are different from mine.

Is this possible?

You're quite right not to replace other users' normal.dot files.

Move the macros to a separate template that you store in the Startup folder,
which makes it a global add-in (that is, the macros are available in all
documents, just as they are when they're in normal.dot). You can then send
that template to other users to store in their Startup folder. See
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/MacrosVBA/DistributeMacros.htm for details and a
suggestion about how to update the template when necessary.
