InsertFile() and image anchors problem

Hi! I am looping through several files in a directory and append them to each
other using InsertFile().

If a document contains an image that is anchored, then the image does not
stay with the original document. It rather moves somewhere else.

What are my options to programmatically force all images to stay intact with
their parents?

Many Thanks in Advance,

Version of Word involved?

Can you describe more precisely how the image is moving? Is it a case of
inserting a file into the "middle" of a page that contains text from the
previous document you inserted? And the image is appearing in that text?

this could be the case if the graphics object is formatted relative to the
page, rather than relative to the text. (IOW, the "Move with text" checkbox is
not activated in the advanced layout options.)

Hi! Sorry for getting back to you so late.

I am using Word 2003. I checked the layout properties and
the "Move with text" checkbox is
activated in the advanced layout options.
The fix will probably has to do with fixing the
Absolute position that pins the picture to a paragraph.
Since page breaks can occur withing a paragraph, the pinned picture
stays in the old location.

What are my options to fix the problems programmatically?

Numerous thanks in advance,

Difficult. Especially since I'm not actually looking at the problem.
Can you know in advance what/where the picture should be? Or do you
have control over the document being imported (so you could give the
picture a name that contains the information you need to position
it)?
