Word status bar in IE in the future?

I just have a quick question. I know it is NOT currently possible to view
the Word status bar when in IE, but is that something that might be possible
in the future?

Anything is *possible*. But whether it will happen depends on whether
Microsoft thinks this ought to be a priority. Somehow, I rather doubt it.
