In the subject the " `" is one space to the left of the "e".     Anyone
know the keyboard code for making the letter with the slash directly
over it?

Followup: What's that slash mark called, anyway?

Cheers, TomBk

Try Alt plus 0232 to get the e with accent grave.  The accent pointed the
other way is accent acute (alt + 0233).

Try insert symbol.  In French, it is an accent grave.

Alt+0232 on the numeric keypad will give you an è

It should be an aigu (touché)? (BTW, how was Paris, Doug?)

Hi Klaus,

I'm still here and probably will be for another 12 months.  Let me know if
you are travelling this way.
