Having learnt news about GetAddress, I've also tried AddAddress according to the example given in Word 2000 VBA Help. But I get the message "It is not possible to add the address to the private address book" Never is the happiness complete! Do any one have an explanation? /BosseH Bo, you really need to stick with your original question. People here get cranky when you multi-thread. Please see my response to your previous question and provide the code you are using to fetch the contacts.
