i have a templete in word  and have real data in excel. now i want to
send letters to 15 customers using the word templete and the excel
data. how would i do that with only printing once (not sure if
possible). for example i would need the customers address to be on that
templete so when i print 15 letters to 15 different customers the
letters include that data from excel. not sure if this is doable in
word and if its not please let me know what i could use to achive that.
also i am not sure if i posted in the right group because this is my
first time using groups. anyway thanks in advance

Hi,

this group is about programming Word,
and that is not what you want.

I think what you need is a mailmerge.

See:
microsoft.public.word.mailmerge.fields

Since you seem to be rather a novice,
you may check these groups also:

microsoft.public.word.docmanagement
microsoft.public.word.newusers
