Hi
Is there a way that a group of workers can all share the same autotext
entries and, importantly, all add entries for the others to use? To be
successful, the facility would need to allow any of them to add their own
entries for the benefit of the others in the group, just as simply as if they
were adding an entry to their own Normal.dot.
Thanks
Dave

See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/MacrosVBA/DistributeMacros.htm. The same
principles apply to distributing AutoText as to distributing macros.
You may want to look at the AutoTextDumper and AutoTextLoader macros at
http://jay-freedman.info. They offer a way to put AutoText into a regular
document that can be, edited, distributed, and then loaded into any global
template.

Not exactly. Best would be to have them send the AT entries to one person
who edits the global. See http://addbalance.com/word/movetotemplate.htm for
step-by-step instructions on moving / sharing / copying / backing-up
customizations including AutoText, AutoCorrect, keyboard assignments,
toolbars, macros, etc.
