I use as400 macros for creating arecordset to join with doucment template.

At the end of the macro i can use the command
   autSystem.Shell "Winword.exe", filename.dot

But how i can i open with statement SHELL to open new template and not the
file.dot?

See:

/ttemplatename

Starts Word with a new document based on a template other than the
Normal template.

autSystem.Shell "Winword.exe", /tfilename.dot

for me here and now it looks like this,
from the cmd-shell

c:\prg\mso2003\office11\winword.exe /tc:\edit2003\company.dot
