Someone in our office cannot record macros stored in a network share, even though they have full control permissions to the location. What am I missing? Do you mean that the document in which they are trying to record the macros is on a network? I do not think that network permissions have anything to do with recording macros in Word (at least, I have never seen a causal relationship). But I must confess I have never tried recoding macros on a standard user Windows account (Is this what you are writing about? Or are you writing about network permissions?) What versions of WIndows/Office? Are nework persmissions also involved? Are you stating that the user cannot even record macros? How is this denial signified (The Record macros button is greyed out, you can start recording but nothing gets written in the project, ???)
